With this exceptional flute design, John Two-Hawks sought to create a
musical and artistic masterpiece. JTH insisted that the traditional cedar
wood selected for each and every flute be rich with color and character.
Two-Hawks wanted this flute to be special, and no corners were cut in
the effort to achieve this. For example, to create the four colored rings
near the mouth piece, four different types of wood were used. There is
also beautiful professional grade engraving on both sides of this flute.
On one side it reads: 'Earth ~ Fire ~ Water ~ Wind'. On the other side it
reads: 'Respect ~ Honor ~ Humility ~ Wisdom'. These words are what
this special JTH Signature Series Flute is all about. This is a flute with
a message - "Let us offer a still, small voice to mend the sacred hoop."
To create this musical, aristic and conceptual masterpiece, Two-Hawks
worked closely with flute artisan Ron Reimers. Mr. Reimers is a talented
artist and he not only executed John's design wishes brilliantly, he also
contributed his own expertise to the project. The end result is a unique
and rare work of art that you can do more than look at.... you can play it!
