About the Gourd Art Wisdom & Music Cards
Each
card is an individual, hand made work of art. On the front of
each of the cards are words of wisdom which are actual quotes from
the writings or spoken word of John Two-Hawks. On the inside of the
cards, there is a CD with one popular song from John Two-Hawks.
Other than the CD, the inside of the card is blank, so you may write
the greeting or sentiment of your choice. Each card is unique, so no
two are the same. However, all the cards resemble the examples
above. Four quotes are available. The CD is the same for all cards.

About the Lakota Wisdom Cards
originals, each one commissioned exclusively for this series.
John Two-Hawks personally directed the artist regarding the
Lakota concepts and imagery seen on these four cards. The
artist then masterfully painted these four original works of art.
After this, Two-Hawks wrote the beautiful quotes to offer an
insight into the deeply complex understanding Lakota people
have of these special sacred animals, symbols and concepts.
